Roisin Murphy’s Cúl Art Showhouse at Ideal Home Show
Posted on Oct 03, 2018 / 2 CommentsThe Ideal Home Showhouse – the exciting and new Cúl Art House designed by Architect Róisín Murphy MRIAI and presenter of RTÉ’s Home Rescue (formerly called: Desperate Houses).
Róisín Murphy, architect, designer and artist, brings a fresh and modern Irish feel to the Ideal Home Showhouse from 26 -29 October at the RDS Simmonscourt. She will be showcasing Irish art, furniture and design sourced from the pioneering modernists of the 60s alongside the contemporary cool of our forefathers but making it work for how we live today in our homes.
Róisín will bring a crisp and modern architectural design and contemporary styling together by using native materials to add colour to the interiors. She will source limestone from Carlow, jade tones of Connemara marble and copper from Longford.
Her work had featured in image interiors, the Irish Times and the RIAI’s house+design. She was exhibited in Open House Galway as well as the annual RIAI exhibition. Her housing designs were included in an RIAI touring exhibition for appropriate rural housing development.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
